JSON-LD schema validation across every page.
Structured Data Testing
Structured data (schema.org markup) tells search engines exactly what your content represents — articles, products, recipes, events, organizations, and more. Proper structured data enables rich results in search: star ratings, FAQ dropdowns, product prices, and breadcrumbs that dramatically increase click-through rates. EchoBat validates JSON-LD structured data across your entire site, checking for correct schema types, required properties, and missing opportunities.
How It Works
EchoBat's crawler extracts all JSON-LD blocks from every page's HTML. The Structured Data lens parses each block, identifies the schema type, and validates required properties against a comprehensive rule set covering 20+ schema.org types. Missing structured data is flagged as an opportunity. Pages with invalid or incomplete schema are grouped by issue type so you can batch-fix problems across your site.
Proof Returned in the Report
Every Structured Data Testing finding is tied to crawl evidence: affected URLs, the source signal, severity, score impact, and the next action exposed in the portal, CLI JSON, and MCP tools.
Sample Evidence Fields
- JSON-LD Presence: Detects which pages have JSON-LD structured data and which are missing it entirely.
- Schema Type Coverage: Maps which schema types (Article, Product, Organization, FAQ, etc.) are used across your site.
- Required Properties: Validates that each schema type includes its required properties (headline for Article, name for Product).
Why It Matters
- Site-wide structured data validation — not one URL at a time
- Find pages missing structured data that could earn rich results
- Property-level validation catches incomplete schema markup
- Supports 20+ schema types with type-specific property checks
